Und dann ist es einfach zu Ende. Dieses Jahr in einem anderen Land, ja sogar in Afrika. Dieses Jahr mit den Kindern, die ich tagt\u00e4glich vor meiner Zimmert\u00fcr h\u00f6ren konnte. All das ist dann doch irgendwie zu schnell vorbeigegangen.<\/p>\n

Am 25. August machte ich mich auf den Weg zum Flughafen, da um 22:25 Uhr der Flieger gen Istanbul starten sollte, wo ich mich jetzt gerade befinde, wartend auf den Anschlussflug nach Frankfurt. Es w\u00e4re ja auch zu sch\u00f6n gewesen, wenn das alles stressfrei abgelaufen w\u00e4r. Auf dem Weg zum Flughafen in Abidjan muss man den gro\u00dfen Boulevard nehmen, der quasi eine Autobahn einmal durch die Stadt ist und alle Stadtteile miteinander verbindet. Nachdem wir auf jenen Boulevard aufgefahren waren, mussten wir feststellen: STAU. Wieso das denn jetzt? Anscheinend eine politische Autorit\u00e4t, die passieren muss. Dann wird n\u00e4mlich einfach mal alles gesperrt und kein Auto bewegt sich. Nun denn, normalerweise l\u00f6st sich so ein Stau aber schnell auf. Nach \u00fcber einer Stunde warten, ist der Glaube an ein schnelles Aufl\u00f6sen des Staus aber mehr als geschwunden und es wird dringend nach einer L\u00f6sung gesucht. Also: umdrehen und das ganze umfahren. Das bedeutet quasi von Deutschland nach Polen \u00fcber Schweden und Finnland zu fahren. Nat\u00fcrlich im Verh\u00e4ltnis gesehen. Also gesagt, getan. Mit einem Affenzahn rasen wir also durch die halbe Stadt, um um 21:45 Uhr am Flughafen anzukommen. Dort angekommen, wird mir sogar mitgeteilt, dass man sich dort des Staus bewusst ist und alle Fl\u00fcge ein bisschen warten. Gl\u00fcck gehabt.<\/p>\n

Jetzt bin ich wohlbehalten Zuhause angekommen und es ist wohl Zeit f\u00fcr ein Dankesch\u00f6n.<\/p>\n

Danke an meine Eltern, meinen Bruder, alle Verwandten, Freunde, Bekannte und Wohlt\u00e4ter, alle die sich \u00fcber das Projekt in Abidjan informiert und vielleicht sogar etwas gespendet haben. Wenn die Hilfe vielleicht auch nicht sofort ankommt, dann nur weil noch kein vern\u00fcnftiger Verwendungszweck daf\u00fcr gefunden wurde. Ich selbst habe schlie\u00dflich den Anspruch, meine Spendengelder so sinnvoll wie m\u00f6glich einzusetzen.<\/p>\n

Danke an die deutsche Botschaft Abidjan f\u00fcr die finanzielle Unterst\u00fctzung bei der Renovierung der Toiletten des Foyers Don Bosco.<\/p>\n

Danke an alle Kinder, mit denen ich arbeiten und vor allem mit denen ich leben durfte. Nicht nur die Arbeit, sondern vor allem das tagt\u00e4gliche Zusammenleben mit ihnen macht den Charme des Projekts in Abidjan aus.
