Von dort aus startete das Abenteuer, zusammen mit drei weiteren Volont\u00e4ren, Lea, Josef und Daniel. Zu viert machten wir uns auf den Weg nach Sambia. V\u00f6llig hin und her gerissen zwischen Vorfreude, was vor einem liegt, und Wehmut von allem und jeden den man hinter sich gelassen hatte. Unsere Flugroute f\u00fchrte von Frankfurt nach Amsterdam bis nach Nairobi. Nachdem wir uns ein Visum am Flughafen gekauft und unser Gep\u00e4ck abgeholt hatten, staden wir nun v\u00f6llig nerv\u00f6s und aufgeregt am Flughafen von Lusaka, aber es war niemand da, der uns abholte. Nach ein paar Minuten Wartezeit erschienen zwei M\u00e4dchen und mir war sofort klar, dass die zu uns wollten.\u00a0 V\u00f6llig \u00fcberraschend stellten wir fest, dass die beiden aus Deutschland kamen, was f\u00fcr die erste Verst\u00e4ndigung sehr praktisch war. Die Leiterin Schwester Prisca begr\u00fc\u00dfte mich herzlich und stellte mir die anderen Schwestern und einige M\u00e4dchen vor, die gerade da waren. Perfekter Zeitpunkt zum Ankommen, warum? Weil eine der Schwestern Geburtstag hatte und dieser mit Gesang und leckeren Essen gefeiert wurde. Auch die anderen Volounteers, zwei Polnische und eine Irin feierten mit. Mit der Irin Katie wohne ich zusammen in einem der Volunteerh\u00e4user. Hier hat jeder ein kleines Zimmer und zusammen ein Bad eine K\u00fcche und den Wohnraum- alles was man braucht.\u00a0 Nachdem Katie mir gesagt hatte wie man das Moskitonetz befestigt, fiel ich auch hundem\u00fcde nach 31 Stunden Reise ins Bett.<\/p>\n<p>In den ersten vier Tagen hatte ich Zeit mich hier einzugew\u00f6hnen. Da noch Ferien sind, stehen auch noch keine wirklichen Aufgaben an. Verena und Lea zeigten mir das Gel\u00e4nde und gingen mit mir zusammen Einkaufen in der Makeni Mall. F\u00fcr mich alles ganz aufregend.\u00a0 Zu den Malls gelangt man mit dem Bus, der uns am Stra\u00dfenrand einsammelte. Da wir Volunteere uns das Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck und Abendbrot selber machen m\u00fcssen, kauften wir die wichtigsten Sachen f\u00fcr die ersten Tage zum Kochen ein, wie z.B. Nudel, Tomaten, \u00c4pfel, Brot, Joghurt usw. Mittags bekommen wir Essen in der sogenannten Dining Hall. Meistens gibt es dort Reis mit Tomatenso\u00dfe, etwas Fleisch und manchmal Bohnen. Da wir noch keine Aufgaben hatten und mir Zeit gegeben wurde mich einzugew\u00f6hnen, nutzte ich die Zeit, die anderen Volos kennen zu lernen, was meistens damit endete, dass wir\u00a0 abends zusammen sitzen und Karten spielen.<\/p>\n<p>Heute ging die Schule los. Alle Sch\u00fcler versammelten sich Klassenweise auf dem Schulhof. Dies unter tosendem Applaus. Ich bin in der dritten Klasse. Diese bestand, zumindest heute, aus 41 Sch\u00fclern und zwei Lehrerinnen, die sich die einzelnen F\u00e4cher aufteilten.
