Meine Einsatzstelle liegt im Westen der Elfenbeink\u00fcste. Die „Stadt“ Du\u00e9kou\u00e9 hat ca. 75.000 Einwohner und liegt in einer eher h\u00fcgligen Landschaft.<\/p>\n

Obwohl die Efenbeink\u00fcste nur eine Zeitzone zur\u00fcckliegt, werde ich 2 Stunden sp\u00e4ter dran sein als in Deutschland. Es gibt hier n\u00e4mlich keine Sommerzeit. Das \u00e4ndert sich aber mit dem Tag, an dem in Deutschland die Uhren auf Winterzeit umgestellt werden. Dann betr\u00e4gt die Zeitverschiebung nur noch eine Stunde.<\/p>\n

Zusammen mit den salesianischen Schwestern Rosanna, Lucie und\u00a0 Fran\u00e7oise werde ich in einer Art M\u00e4dcheninternat arbeiten und leben. Die 10- bis 20- j\u00e4hrigen M\u00e4dchen haben die M\u00f6glichkeit, eine weiterf\u00fchrende Schule zu besuchen oder verschiedene Berufe im Ausbildungszentrum von Don Bosco<\/a> (CPAR) zu erlernen (Konditorei, Schneiderei, Mechanik, Elektronik…). Meine Aufgabe ist es, die M\u00e4dchen in ihrem Alltag vom Wecken bis zum Schlafen gehen zu begleiten – ob beim putzen, lernen, kochen… Es geht darum, einfach f\u00fcr sie da\u00a0 zu sein und ihnen Zeit zu schenken.
\nAu\u00dferdem haben die Schwestern eine Krankenstation mit einem Arzt und die Leitung der eher weiblichen Ausbildungszweige Konditorei und Schneiderei im Ausbildungszentrum.
\nEs leben auch\u00a0 drei Don Bosco Br\u00fcder in Du\u00e9kou\u00e9, die ein Jungsinternat, die „m\u00e4nnlichen“ Zweige des Ausbildungszentrums und die Pfarrgemeinde betreuen.<\/p>\n
