Im Dezember gab es im Care Home einiges zu tun. Denn: Christmas stand vor der T\u00fcr! Marlene und ich waren voll und ganz mit den Vorbereitungen f\u00fcr das anstehende Fest besch\u00e4ftigt. (Deswegen auch keine Zeit f\u00fcr einen Blog.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

F\u00fcr die Weihnachtszeit nahmen sich die College-Boys (die \u00e4lteren Jungs) die Aufgabe zur Hand, eine eigene Krippe zu bauen. Es wurde flei\u00dfig gebastelt, gebaut und gemalt. \u00dcber zwei Wochen hinweg arbeiteten die Jungs jeden Tag in jeder freien Minute an ihrem Projekt. Wir M\u00e4dels halfen auch etwas dabei, aber den Gro\u00dfteil \u00fcberlie\u00dfen wir den Jungs. Das Ergebnis kann sich echt sehen lassen! (Jungs, ich bin so stolz auf euch! \ud83d\udc4d)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bevor es f\u00fcr die Boys und f\u00fcr uns in die wohlverdienten Holidays ging, wurde gro\u00df gefeiert. Zu diesem Anlass trugen Marlene und ich unsere neuen Saris. Moment. Neue Saris?! Ja. (Der letzte Sari von Diwali war zu sch\u00f6n und es gab auch echt billigere Saris.) Das Programm startete mit einer Messe. Danach wurde gesungen, die kleinen Boys f\u00fchrten ihren einstudierten Tanz auf und das Krippenspiel wurde nachgespielt. Dazu f\u00fchrten Marlene und ich zusammen mit einem Brother einen kleinen Tanz auf. (Was im Sari zu einer echten, kleinen Herausforderung wurde.) Danach wurden ganz viele Fotos gemacht (nicht sonderlich spannend) und getanzt. Es war ein richtig, sch\u00f6ner Abend (und ein ganz anderes Christmas als zu Hause \ud83d\ude0a)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00dcbrigens: Echte Weihnachtsb\u00e4ume wie in Deutschland in Indien<\/a> zu finden, ist ziemlich schwer. Aber kein Problem! Einfach einen Ast gr\u00fcn anmalen und bunte Sterne (mein Verdienst), Geschenke (oder andere Weihnachtsdeko) basteln. Dann fehlt nur noch ein Eimer gef\u00fcllt mit Sand (das der Baum nicht umkippt) und eine Lichterkette (nicht vergessen!) Und voila! Fertig ist der Weihnachtsbaum! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
